When I first found out I was pregnant with Harley, so over four years ago, I reached out to several of my mommy friends to get the low down on everything baby. Several of them had and loved the UPPAbaby VISTA. At the time, one of my good [childless] friends was working in a chic baby boutique and she had confirmed that the VISTA was a popular and solid choice. That was enough for me to commit! I didn’t feel it necessary to do a ton of research and compare a bajillion strollers. People I trusted vouched for it, so on my first Mother’s Day, I went ahead and impulsively purchased the 2014 UPPAbaby VISTA stroller four months before Harley was born. I then added the MESA carseat to my registry, which my aunts were so kind to gift us. Once Harley was born, we used that stroller every single day for at least two years. We absolutely loved it!

So, fast forward to when I found out I was pregnant with Elie, I started my stroller search again. This time around, my needs were a bit different and more challenging. Harley, AKA Miss Independent, rarely goes in the stroller. However, with that being said, I still needed a stroller that could be a double stroller if and when needed.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that with the purchase of $45 lower adapters, the UPPAbaby VISTA easily becomes a double stroller! $45!! That’s it! Because the VISTA comes with the toddler seat AND bassinet, you can use the bassinet on the bottom when adding the lower adapters, and then keep the toddler seat on top.

It doesn’t stop there either!

Should you have the MESA carseat like we do [which I highly recommend getting along with the VISTA stroller], and/or decide to purchase the RumbleSeat, there are SO MANY different combinations that take this stroller from single to double mode with the appropriate adapters. It can even hold more than two children if you get the Piggyback ride along board, which Harley LOVES to go on!

UPPAbaby MESA VISTA review, best 2018 stroller

As much as we loved our old VISTA, the 2018 version is even more impressive! With new color options and added leather detailing, there’s no denying that this stroller is extremely attractive and sophisticated. In addition, it rides like a dream. It’s like the Lexus of strollers! My favorite part though is the HUGE underneath storage basket that allows me to throw in my very oversized diaper bag along with any grocery or shopping bags I may have.

I really am so happy that the UPPAbaby VISTA is what we decided on for our everyday use, and truly would recommend it to anyone in search for a stroller!

How is the white color holding up? I love the color, but I’ve been too afraid of the potential stain disasters. Is it stain resistant? Easy to clean?

Ours is still very white! I’ve had to spot clean it a few times, but so far so good!!
