Happy 2016! We got back from New York late Monday night and it’s taking a little LONG time to get back into our routine. After indulging in way too many carbs, sweets, [and alcohol], I have never craved so many fruits and vegetables in my life!! I’m still dragging quite a bit…have yet to unpack [which Casey will tell you is the norm for me because I suck at packing and unpacking], and just feel so so tired!!! I don’t know if it’s since turning 30 or perhaps becoming a Mother, but I’m certainly no spring chicken and my recovery time on feeling like a normal person is less than desirable.

My love for ponchos or anything that resembles a blanket and is acceptable to wear in public continues! I can’t find this exact one online, but it’s Xhilaration and sold at Target stores. If I remember correctly it was under $30. I love that it goes perfectly with these wine colored boots. In my previous post, I mentioned that these Ivanka Trump OTK boots fit and look better over jeans, so I wanted to show you guys an example of how I’ve been styling them.

If this tribal kimono/poncho is sold out at your local Target, but you’re searching for a cute, similar option, check these ones out:
