Gingham, gingham, gingham…oh, how I love you so. This pattern has certainly evolved over time. What was once cutesy and Southern is now trendy and cool. Designers have taken this very popular, yet old fashioned check and gave it some oomph! From off shoulder to open back, to peplum style and more…gingham is here to prove that it’s not going anywhere.
I can’t get over the neckline of this top! The asymmetrical and ruffle details are such a fun combo. Last I checked [right before this post went live], there was only one size left! I’ve been waiting and waiting to post this outfit for you, hoping they’d restock more sizes, but they haven’t. With that being said, I figured it was better for some of you to snatch this top before it completely sells out.
So I had been searching for black jeans. Ya know, like reallyyyyy black jeans. The kind that don’t fade after one wash black jeans. Fortunately, I was contacted by Mott & Bow, a denim company based in New York, offering to gift me a pair of jeans of my choice. I figured why not and happily accepted their offer with no obligation for me to share them with you guys. Well whadaya know! Black black jeans! The kind that don’t fade after one wash black jeans! This is the only pair I’ve tried from them, but I love them! They feel soft and run true to size.
Sorry for getting off topic. I just really wanted to share that with you because I know I’m not the only one who was having a hard time finding great black jeans! And I’m happy to support my fellow New Yorkers! 😉
What were we talking about again?! Oh yes… GINGHAM!! Like florals, gingham is something that everyone can pull off because there are just so many options to choose from. In the widget below, I share my top gingham pieces to wear this Spring!
