Today I’m excited to share with you one of my comfy, cozy, and cute looks worn last weekend in Sonoma, while sitting fireside making smores and hanging at the Farmhouse Inn. This trip is definitely up there in terms of being one of my most favorite vacations ever, but more on that to come in a future post.
I’ve been wanting both this parka and city coat since they came out years ago. J.Crew makes such cute outerwear! For some reason though, I could never find myself to actually purchase either one of them, that is until a few weeks ago when I realized J.Crew Factory was selling practically identical versions for HALF THE PRICE. Can you believe it?!! The hardest decision was choosing the color for each style. As you see, I went with the grey on this one. You know I love my neutrals! For the city coat however, I switched things up and got the “spicy jade” which is a beautiful green. If you want to check out the ones currently being sold at J.Crew, they’re called the Chateau Parka and the Stadium-Cloth Cocoon Coat [which is currently 40% off with code: 24HOURS and comes in 8 colors].
This oversize sweater was purchased recently from H&M, along with several other turtlenecks and sweaters that I plan to bring with me to New York. We leave Saturday and will be there until after the new year. I suggest sizing down one size, unless you’re looking for a really really loose fit. There’s no H&M close to me in Florida, but honestly, give me a Free Shipping promo code, and I’d rather shop online 9 out of 10 times anyway! These high rise leggings fit awesome and are flattering. And this beanie is so adorable! It comes in 4 colors and is currently on sale! You’d be surprised that I have a really small head, so I have major issues finding hats that don’t look absolutely ridiculous on me. This fits just perfectly!
Last, but definitely not least, I want to talk about my boots from Payless. I’m someone who has always opted for heels over anything flat, BUT lately I’ve been surprising myself by choosing comfort first on many occasions. With that being said, choosing comfort doesn’t mean sacrificing cuteness in any way, shape, or form. These boots are so comfy, cozy, and cute!! I love the fuzzy faux fur detail on them! They’d look great with jeans and a sweater which I plan to wear while in New York. I’m thinking of spraying a water repellent on them so they’ll hold up better in the event there’s snow on the ground. If you have experience with a certain spray that you recommend, let me know please! It would be much appreciated!! And since you know I’m obsessed with matching Mommy and Me looks, I should probably get this pair for Harley. She’d absolutely love them!!
Payless offers affordable and stylish shoes for the whole family and I am so happy to have partnered with them for today’s post!
